Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment to detect prohibited items.
- Verify identification documents and boarding passes to ensure strict compliance with security regulations.
- Enforce security procedures and protocols firmly and courteously in high-volume environments.
- Operate screening equipment, conduct manual bag searches, and coordinate with law enforcement officers when necessary.
- Assist passengers with special needs and provide exceptional customer service during stressful situations.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness and alertness throughout your shift.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation, medical screening, and drug test.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
- No disqualifying criminal history or drug use.
