Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo using X-ray machines and physical inspection techniques.
- Enforce security regulations and protocols in accordance with TSA policies.
- Identify prohibited items and take appropriate action to ensure safety.
- Assist passengers with inquiries regarding screening procedures in a professional and courteous manner.
- Remain alert and responsive during emergency situations to ensure passenger and staff safety.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of screening equipment and work areas.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and security clearance process.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- No felony convictions within the last 7 years.
- Valid Driver's License (Preferred).
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
