Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using advanced imaging technology, X-ray equipment, and metal detection devices.
- Enforce security directives, regulations, and procedures to maintain a secure environment for travelers.
- Identify, isolate, and resolve prohibited items and potential security threats immediately.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the traveling public, providing clear instructions and assistance.
- Operate and monitor security screening equipment, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient passenger flow and safety protocols are met.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation, drug screening, and medical examination.
- Ability to pass a physical agility test and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
- Good vision (corrected or uncorrected) and the ability to distinguish colors accurately.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
