Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Identify and prohibit the carrying of weapons and dangerous items through security checkpoints.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist travelers with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement partners to ensure a secure environment.
- Adhere to strict security protocols and safety procedures at all times.
- Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- No felony convictions within the last 7 years (or specific waiver eligibility).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Excellent vision (correctable) and physical stamina for standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
