Responsibilities
- Perform security screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using X-ray machines and physical inspections.
- Conduct pat-downs and physical searches to detect prohibited items and threats.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public in a high-volume environment.
- Adhere strictly to all TSA security protocols, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify and report security anomalies, weapons, or illegal items to law enforcement.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient passenger flow and safety compliance.
- Remain alert and focused during rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
- Must successfully pass a background investigation and obtain a TSA security clearance.
- Ability to pass a drug test and a medical assessment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
