Responsibilities
- Conduct security screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo in accordance with TSA regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Operate X-ray machines, CT scanners, and advanced imaging technology to detect prohibited items and threats.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the traveling public, providing clear and accurate instructions.
- Perform random searches and pat-downs when necessary, maintaining a high standard of customer service and professionalism.
- Document security observations, incidents, and irregularities accurately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist in emergency response procedures and other duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or national.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift) and lift moderate weights.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Willingness to undergo a medical examination to ensure physical fitness for the role.
