Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and physical searches to detect prohibited items.
- Operate screening equipment and technology in accordance with TSA regulations and protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers while maintaining a professional and secure environment.
- Enforce security laws and regulations, including pat-downs and secondary screenings when necessary.
- Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 security coverage.
- Complete all required training programs and maintain certifications.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship and the ability to pass a background investigation.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to pass a medical examination and drug screen.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- No disqualifying criminal history or drug use.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
