Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screening using advanced X-ray technology and manual search techniques
- Enforce TSA security protocols while maintaining professionalism during high-pressure interactions
- Operate complex security equipment including EDS, trace detection systems, and walk-through metal detectors
- Document security incidents and suspicious activities through standardized reporting procedures
- Provide clear instructions to passengers regarding screening processes and prohibited items
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security escalations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of security procedures and sensitive information
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Valid state driver's license (if operating airport vehicles)
