Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage for prohibited items using X-ray scanners and metal detectors
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections to ensure compliance with TSA regulations
- Monitor airport checkpoints to identify potential security threats and suspicious behavior
- Operate advanced security technology and maintain accurate screening documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers while enforcing security protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security incidents

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal residency status
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening
- Must be at least 18 years old with the legal right to work in the U.S.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn security technology systems
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs
