Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo to detect threats to transportation security.
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and advanced imaging technology.
- Patrol and monitor screening areas to ensure a safe and secure environment for all travelers.
- Follow all TSA directives, security procedures, and standard operating procedures strictly.
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Assist in the removal and safe handling of prohibited items.
- Document screening results and report any suspicious activities or anomalies immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- No major felony convictions.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
