Role Overview
We are looking for vigilant and professional individuals to perform screening operations at Orlando International Airport. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo to detect threats to transportation security.
- Operate advanced screening equipment, including X-ray machines and metal detectors, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Identify, resolve, and report potential security threats or violations in accordance with TSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers, explaining screening procedures clearly and professionally.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient flow of traffic and adherence to operational protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or national.
- Must be able to pass a background check, including fingerprinting and a drug screening.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Good vision (corrected if necessary) and the ability to distinguish colors.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
