- Screen passengers, carry-on bags, and cargo using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and advanced imaging technology
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections to detect prohibited items
- Verify passenger identification and travel documentation
- Respond to security alerts and incidents with professionalism and composure
- Maintain accurate records of screening activities and security breaches
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergencies
- Provide clear instructions to travelers while maintaining a secure environment
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum age 18 years
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to obtain TSA Security Screening Badge
- Stand/walk for extended periods in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
