- Passenger Inspection: Screen passengers and their property for prohibited items and security threats.
- Identity Verification: Verify credentials and identity documents to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Protocol Enforcement: Enforce security directives and procedures at security checkpoints and screening lanes.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with travelers to de-escalate situations and guide them through security processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with law enforcement, federal agents, and other security personnel.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a federal background investigation, drug screen, and medical examination.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong observation skills and the ability to remain focused under pressure.
- Availability: Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
