Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines and walk-through metal detectors to screen passengers and baggage
- Conduct physical searches and pat-downs following TSA protocols
- Verify passenger identification and boarding documents
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activity
- Communicate effectively with travelers and resolve conflicts professionally
- Maintain accurate security documentation and incident reports
- Adhere to all TSA policies and federal security regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer proficiency and English fluency
