Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced passenger screening using X-ray, CT scanners, and trace detection technology
- Perform physical pat-down searches and baggage inspections per TSA protocols
- Operate explosive detection systems and analyze suspicious items
- Enforce security regulations while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed operational logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Maintain 100% compliance with TSA Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a TSA security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years security/customer service experience
- Ability to stand 8+ hours and lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license preferred
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
