Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security screening of passengers and carry-on baggage using advanced X-ray technology
- Perform pat-down searches and explosive detection procedures per TSA protocols
- Monitor checkpoints and identify potential security threats through behavioral analysis
- Operate complex screening equipment and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing security regulations
- Collaborate with law enforcement during security incidents
- Participate in continuous training on new security procedures and technologies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (4+ hours)
- Must pass TSA's Security Screening Skills Assessment
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
