Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and CT scanners to screen passengers and carry-on baggage
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections according to TSA protocols
- Monitor security checkpoints and identify potential security threats
- Communicate effectively with diverse travelers in high-pressure situations
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate security documentation
- Participate in remote security training modules and compliance updates
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency response scenarios
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency for remote training systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Valid U.S. driver's license (if required for site mobility)
- Experience in customer service or security preferred
