Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items and threats to aviation security.
- Operate advanced X-ray screening equipment and CT scanners to identify threats.
- Enforce security regulations and protocols in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist travelers with special needs and answer questions regarding screening procedures.
- Document any irregularities or security breaches immediately.
- Maintain a high standard of physical fitness and grooming as required by federal standards.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be willing to undergo a thorough background investigation, including a criminal history check.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and medical examination.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- No disqualifying criminal history or drug use.
