Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and property using advanced imaging technology and physical inspection methods.
- Enforce security regulations and protocols consistently and fairly.
- Identify and resolve potential threats or prohibited items in carry-on and checked baggage.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to travelers.
- Assist in the operation of X-ray machines and explosive trace detection equipment.
- Document all screening activities and incidents accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a secure and efficient checkpoint environment.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Ability to pass a background check and medical examination.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull luggage weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and high ethical standards.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
