Responsibilities
- Screening Operations: Inspect passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using X-ray equipment and physical inspection methods.
- Regulatory Compliance: Enforce security regulations and procedures consistently and fairly to prevent unauthorized items from entering secure areas.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with travelers, providing clear instructions and assistance while maintaining a calm demeanor during high-volume periods.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize advanced screening technology and metal detectors effectively to identify threats.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to maintain efficient checkpoint flow and resolve security issues.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
- Background Check: Must pass a thorough background investigation and drug screen.
- Shift Work: Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
