Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and baggage at airport security checkpoints
- Operate advanced imaging technologies and detection equipment
- Conduct thorough physical searches and pat-downs when required
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes
- Enforce TSA security protocols and regulations
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies
- Document screening activities and maintain security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement during security breaches
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Must complete paid training program (8 weeks)
- Basic computer literacy and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-6 hours)
- Must pass TSA Security Screening Test
