Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screening to detect prohibited items
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security equipment
- Enforce TSA security regulations and procedures with professionalism
- Respond to security alerts and potential threats following protocol
- Assist travelers with security procedures and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate screening documentation and incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel as needed
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or U.S. National status required
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
