Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations (CFR, FAR) and state/local ordinances
- Conduct compliance audits and prepare detailed regulatory reports
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for staff
- Liaise with DOJ, EPA, and other federal agencies on regulatory matters
- Monitor legislative changes and update compliance protocols
- Manage vendor compliance contracts and performance metrics
- Lead cross-departmental compliance task forces
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance/regulatory experience
- Active Security Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in GSA compliance systems and federal reporting tools
- Strong knowledge of Florida Statutes and Miami-Dade ordinances
- Experience with federal grant compliance (OMB Circulars)
- Certified Federal Compliance Officer (CFCO) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
