Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail/packages efficiently according to established routes
- Deliver mail to residential/business addresses with accuracy and timeliness
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection points
- Maintain delivery vehicle in optimal condition through daily inspections
- Operate USPS technology systems for tracking and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at post offices
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and delivery standards
Qualifications
- Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident with valid work authorization
- Ability to lift 70+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions year-round
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems training
