Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (CFR, DHS directives) across assigned jurisdictions
- Conduct remote audits of state/local agency security protocols
- Generate compliance reports and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with federal/state/local stakeholders on security initiatives
- Monitor emerging threats and update compliance frameworks
- Maintain secure documentation using federal systems (e.g., JPAS, DISS)
- Provide training to state/local partners on federal compliance standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal/state/local compliance roles
- Expert knowledge of CFR Title 44, DHS directives, and FISMA
- Proficient with federal security clearance systems (JPAS/DISS)
- Strong analytical skills with audit/certification experience
- Excellent written communication for federal reporting
- Dallas-based residency required (in-person quarterly meetings)
