Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity operations for federal systems in the NYC metropolitan area
- Conduct threat intelligence analysis and incident response coordination
- Implement NIST/FISMA compliance frameworks across agency networks
- Collaborate with FBI, NSA, and local law enforcement partners
- Develop mitigation strategies for zero-day vulnerabilities
- Mentor junior security analysts and train federal personnel
- Generate classified and unclassified security reports
Qualifications
- Active U.S. security clearance (Top Secret/SCI required)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with federal/government experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network defense
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and penetration testing
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Ability to work rotating shifts during critical incidents
