Responsibilities
- Conduct immigration inspections and enforce federal laws at designated ports of entry
- Investigate human trafficking and smuggling operations
- Execute federal warrants and apprehend individuals violating immigration statutes
- Collaborate with federal agencies to ensure border security
- Prepare detailed case documentation and testify in federal court proceedings
- Utilize advanced surveillance technology and tactical equipment
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- Minimum of one year specialized experience in law enforcement or military service
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Successful completion of background investigation and polygraph examination
- Physical fitness to pass CBP's fitness test (push-ups, sit-ups, run)
- Proficiency in Spanish or bilingual skills preferred
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and holidays
