Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal/state/local regulations across 15+ city departments
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for public programs
- Develop and implement compliance training for 200+ municipal staff
- Prepare comprehensive regulatory reports for city council and state agencies
- Coordinate with legal teams to resolve compliance violations
- Lead cross-functional task forces on regulatory updates
- Manage compliance documentation systems (e.g., SharePoint)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years government compliance or regulatory experience
- Deep knowledge of Texas state/federal regulations (e.g., TAC, CFR)
- Proficient in compliance software (e.g., OnBase, Compli)
- Valid Texas driver's license
- US citizenship required for federal clearance
- Project management certification (PMP/CPM) preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
