Responsibilities
- Monitor federal, state, and local regulatory changes affecting city operations
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments for municipal departments
- Develop/implement compliance policies and training programs
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with legal counsel on regulatory interpretations
- Manage compliance documentation and record-keeping systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years of compliance/government regulatory experience
- Strong knowledge of Kentucky Revised Statutes and federal regulations
- Proficient in compliance software (e.g., compliance.ai, OnBase)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Ability to obtain security clearance within 30 days
- U.S. citizenship required
