Responsibilities
- Monitor federal, state, and local regulatory changes affecting city programs
- Conduct internal audits of grant-funded projects
- Develop compliance training materials for 15+ department staff
- Prepare quarterly compliance reports for City Council
- Collaborate with legal team on policy updates
- Manage vendor compliance documentation
- Lead cross-departmental compliance committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of government compliance experience
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance
- Proficient in audit software (e.g., TeamMate, AuditBoard)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority deadlines
- U.S. citizenship required for federal contract work
