Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure municipal facilities during overnight hours, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Respond to emergency calls and provide critical public safety support during night operations
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during nighttime incidents
- Maintain detailed activity logs and documentation of overnight operations
- Provide frontline citizen assistance during non-standard business hours
- Enforce municipal regulations and ordinances during nighttime patrols
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen with clean background check and valid California driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in security, emergency services, or government operations
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays consistently
- Strong communication skills with ability to de-escalate tense situations
- Proficient in basic computer systems and reporting software
- Physical stamina for overnight patrols and emergency response
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
