Responsibilities
- Manage 15+ personnel across sanitation, public safety, and infrastructure maintenance teams during overnight hours
- Coordinate emergency response protocols and incident reporting protocols
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Prepare operational reports and performance metrics for city leadership
- Implement safety standards and OSHA compliance measures
- Train staff on emergency procedures and operational protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years supervisory experience in government or regulated industry
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong knowledge of FEMA/NIMS emergency response frameworks
- Proficient in municipal software systems (SAP, GIS preferred)
- Ability to obtain security clearance within 30 days of hire
