Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans for 500,000+ government employees across Georgia
- Process retirement applications, benefit calculations, and disbursements
- Ensure strict adherence to ERISA, IRS, and Georgia state pension regulations
- Develop and implement pension policy improvements
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments
- Train HR partners on pension procedures and regulations
- Manage vendor relationships for pension administration services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of pension administration or benefits management experience
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k) regulations, and Georgia pension laws
- Advanced proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Millennium)
- Strong analytical skills for complex benefit calculations
- Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, QPA) preferred
- Ability to handle confidential data with utmost discretion
