Responsibilities
- Analyze state legislation and federal regulations for compliance and impact assessment
- Research and prepare comprehensive policy briefs and recommendation reports
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to develop evidence-based solutions
- Present policy recommendations to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Monitor implementation outcomes and recommend policy adjustments
- Manage stakeholder engagement across government agencies and community groups
- Ensure all documentation meets state compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of government policy analysis or legislative experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Deep knowledge of Georgia state government operations
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities
- Active Georgia government security clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- US citizenship and valid driver's license required
