Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and execution of municipal programs aligned with Denver's 2024-2028 Action Plan
- Manage $2M+ budgets and ensure fiscal accountability for assigned initiatives
- Collaborate with 15+ city departments and external stakeholders
- Conduct policy analysis and recommend evidence-based solutions
- Prepare comprehensive reports for City Council and executive leadership
- Oversee compliance with federal grant requirements (e.g., HUD, FEMA)
- Implement performance metrics and KPI tracking systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years government/public sector program management experience
- Proven track record of managing complex budgets and multi-agency projects
- Expertise in Denver municipal code and Colorado state regulations
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent written/verbal communication and public presentation skills
- PMP or CP certification highly desirable
- Must pass federal background check and security clearance
