Responsibilities
- Manage and execute government compliance programs across federal/state/local jurisdictions
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for policy recommendations
- Coordinate inter-agency projects with local municipalities and federal partners
- Develop public outreach initiatives to enhance citizen engagement
- Prepare comprehensive reports for legislative committees and executive leadership
- Ensure adherence to Virginia Administrative Code and federal regulations
- Maintain secure documentation systems for classified information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in government or public sector roles
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one within 90 days
- Proficiency in government-specific software (e.g., SAM.gov, Grants.gov)
- Expertise in Virginia's Sunshine Law and FOIA procedures
- Strong analytical skills with policy impact assessment experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record for field visits
