Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate municipal equipment (trucks, mowers, heavy machinery) safely and efficiently
- Assist in park maintenance, landscaping, and public facility upkeep
- Respond to emergency weather situations (snow removal, storm cleanup) as required
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and municipal regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate public works projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean record
- Experience operating heavy machinery or municipal equipment (CDL beneficial)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to public service and community safety
- Basic knowledge of construction/maintenance tools and techniques
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
