Responsibilities
- Manage Federal Projects: Oversee and coordinate daily operations for federal grant programs and state initiatives to ensure compliance with established regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between government agencies, vendors, and community partners, facilitating clear and effective communication.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to generate accurate reports for federal auditors and local government officials.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all local, state, and federal policies are strictly adhered to in daily operations to maintain agency accreditation.
- Document Management: Maintain meticulous records of all project deliverables, correspondence, and regulatory filings.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of new public policies and procedural guidelines.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen or hold permanent residency status (required for most federal roles).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (e.g., Secret or Top Secret) is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in government contracting, public administration, or administrative support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and government-specific databases.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft official correspondence.
