Responsibilities
- Manage and organize official government records, correspondence, and confidential data with strict adherence to privacy laws.
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications, schedule high-level executive meetings, and prepare detailed minutes.
- Process and review public records requests efficiently and accurately in compliance with state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of policy briefs, budget proposals, and legislative updates for senior government officials.
- Maintain a professional front desk environment and greet visitors, constituents, and staff with courtesy and efficiency.
- Monitor office supplies and inventory to ensure optimal operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public administration, office management, or a related government sector role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in government software systems (e.g., GRAMS, COTS) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of Colorado state government procedures, compliance standards, and FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
