Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze federal and state government policies to ensure full compliance with agency regulations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed audit reports, documentation, and internal compliance manuals.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance within the department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Respond to inquiries from internal staff and external stakeholders regarding compliance procedures.
- Stay updated on legislative changes and advise management on necessary policy adjustments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government, compliance, or a related administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding public assistance and social services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment or in a team setting.
