Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal, state, and local regulatory compliance across city departments
- Conduct comprehensive audits and risk assessments for public programs
- Develop and implement compliance training initiatives for government staff
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for city leadership and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with legal teams to address compliance violations and corrective actions
- Stay updated on evolving legislation impacting public sector operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of government compliance or regulatory experience
- Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law and FOIA requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Florida driver's license
