Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex government regulations and policies to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to management and legislative bodies regarding program performance and budget utilization.
- Manage and coordinate inter-departmental projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct public outreach and stakeholder engagement to gather feedback and improve service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive government information.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new personnel within the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government administration, public policy, or a related sector.
- Strong knowledge of state procurement processes and budget management principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and government-specific software.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess the ability to obtain a necessary government security clearance.
