Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for county facilities.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems used by government staff.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state data privacy and cybersecurity regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to county employees regarding office automation tools.
- Monitor system performance and perform regular backups to prevent data loss.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for system upgrades and repairs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all system configurations and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in IT support or systems administration within a government or corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in urgent situations.
- Valid State of Arizona Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and security clearance.
