Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming applications, permits, and public records requests with strict attention to accuracy.
- Conduct research on federal and state regulations to ensure strict compliance with all municipal codes.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of secure digital and physical databases for government data.
- Communicate effectively with constituents, vendors, and internal department heads regarding government procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports, correspondence, and briefing documents for senior officials.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and regulatory agencies to facilitate community safety initiatives.
- Monitor and update agency policies to reflect changing state and federal legislation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a government, legal, or administrative role.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal government structures and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and government case management software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Must be a US Citizen or possess valid work authorization for the United States.
