Responsibilities
- Policy Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of current government policies to recommend effective solutions for public welfare.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between government agencies, local businesses, and community organizations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all departmental operations adhere to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Grant Management: Oversee the lifecycle of government grants, including application, reporting, and fund allocation.
- Public Outreach: Develop and implement communication strategies to inform the public about new initiatives and programs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical records of all departmental activities and transactions.
- Crisis Management: Assist in the coordination of emergency response efforts during public safety events.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or a related field is required.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or be eligible for a government security clearance.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a public sector, administrative, or project management role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and government-specific database systems.
