Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage and organize complex government documents, records, and filing systems with high attention to detail.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional assistance to the public and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person inquiries regarding government programs.
- Data Management: Input, verify, and maintain accurate data in various government databases and reporting systems.
- Compliance & Reporting: Assist in preparing routine reports, statistical data, and compliance documentation required by state regulations.
- Scheduling Coordination: Coordinate meeting schedules, manage calendars, and assist with logistics for departmental meetings.
- Project Assistance: Support senior staff in executing special projects and initiatives related to community outreach.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or data entry.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic data processing software.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Integrity: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and adhere to government ethics standards.
