Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Mail: Organize and prepare mail for delivery in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring accuracy in addressing and routing.
- Deliver Packages: Navigate assigned routes to deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicles and ensure they are clean and roadworthy.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, collecting signatures, and handling package hold requests.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all USPS safety regulations and traffic laws to ensure personal and public safety.
- Physical Demands: Lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs, walk for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting, walking, standing, and bending for extended periods.
