Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and deliver mail/packages according to USPS standards and delivery routes
- Operate mail processing machinery (scanners, sorters, etc.) with precision
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Adhere to safety protocols for vehicle operation and heavy lifting
- Provide exceptional customer service at postal counters and during delivery
- Assist with inventory management of postal supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanning devices
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory for USPS roles)
- US citizenship or permanent residency status
- Previous logistics or delivery experience preferred
