Responsibilities
- Sort and process mail efficiently and accurately according to USPS standards.
- Load and unload parcels and letters from delivery vehicles and sorting equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service at the counter or during delivery routes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in all facilities and vehicles.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and operational procedures at all times.
- Operate various postal equipment, including canceling machines and scanners.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess a valid permanent resident alien card.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including rain, heat, and snow.
- Valid driver's license is required for specific roles.
- Good manual dexterity and the ability to stand for extended periods.
