Responsibilities
- Analyze state legislation and regulatory impacts for the Finance & Administration division
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and executive summaries for cabinet-level review
- Coordinate with state agencies to align budget priorities with legislative goals
- Conduct quantitative research using economic modeling tools
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Lead cross-functional task forces on emerging policy initiatives
- Monitor federal regulatory changes affecting Tennessee operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Economics, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit sector
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep knowledge of Tennessee legislative processes
- Strong written/verbal communication skills demonstrated in reports
- Experience with budget formulation and fiscal impact analysis
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Master's degree preferred for senior roles
